uh...okay...maybe it's developmental?

Punkin just pulled his pants and diaper down around his ankles and pooped on the carpet.

Are you done laughing?

Not yet?

Maybe now?

K. Good enough. I mean, what do you do? I didn't know; I just froze, staring at the turd laying in my living room. Then I snapped out of it, thankfully, and said, "Let's go poop in the potty" in my best fake calm voice as I carried him to the toilet. He did go more, if you must know. And he did get a "nornge" (orange) sticker.

Glad I'm not the only one that just freezes up incapable of movement!

That is so funny. Well, I am sure it was less than funny at the time. One time, Blake removed his Pull Up and peed on the Aquadoodle mat. Unfortunately, he thought it was cool, because it turned blue. Blake has NEVER pooped in the potty, so you are truly blessed that Punkin is doing it.

Tara HATES it when I do that. ;)

Really though, you're a saint!

Hmmm... Is this what I have to look forward to? Great. I can't wait. :)

My friend Sarah's baby squatted down once while I was visiting and I couldn't figure out what she was doing until liquid poo started running down her leg and onto the hardwood floor of their apartment. Then all I could think to do was yell for Sarah. She calmly scooped the girl up and put her into the tub. I would NEVER have thought of that - isn't poo like toxic acid that will burn through any material besides special toilet porcelain?!?!?! So I didn't laugh when I read this - just froze in sympathy-horror.

Oh my, that would get your attention, huh? We've not had that happen, yet. J's still quite fond of performing that function in his pull-up. And Kristie, peeing on the Aquadoodle mat - that is creative genious! Don't let them teach my kids that trick though. lol
